About Clayton Island Tours
Clayton Island Tours provides narrated boat tours through the Thousand Islands region of the St. Lawrence River. Passengers travel aboard intimate 43-65 passenger vessels on two- or three-hour cruises among the islands in both United States and Canadian waters. Professional guides share the legends and lore of the region while visitors view giant Great Lakes freighters, lighthouses, island homes, and the Thousand Islands International Bridge. The Ultimate Sightseeing Tour includes a picnic lunch and stops at Boldt Castle on Heart Island and Rock Island Lighthouse, with admissions included. The Boldt Castle and Two Nation Tour travels over 27 miles on a narrated journey with a stop to explore Boldt Castle grounds and interior. The Rock Island Lighthouse tour operates aboard The Night Heron, a glass-bottomed boat offering unique underwater views. Cruises depart from Clayton, New York, and visit areas of the 1000 Islands not seen on other public boat tours. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
