About Chippewa Lake Slaughterhouse

Chippewa Lake Slaughterhouse is a haunted house attraction set inside a real slaughterhouse building in Chippewa Lake, Ohio. Visitors navigate over 70,000 square feet of horror-themed environments featuring Hollywood-quality sets and professional actors. The experience draws on the property's history as Karver Meats, a meat-processing facility that operated from 1948 before closing decades later under mysterious circumstances. The attraction incorporates this dark backstory into its staged scares and immersive theming throughout the building. Guests can enhance their experience with add-on options including a VIP Fast Pass to skip lines and a Touch Pass for 18+ visitors seeking more interactive scares, which includes a glow stick necklace signaling participation in certain portions of the show. Limited tickets are sold online nightly to reduce wait times and ensure more private group experiences. The attraction suits visitors seeking intense horror entertainment during the Halloween season.
