About Black Dragon Cruises
Black Dragon is a pirate-themed cruise ship operating from Pirates Landing in Port Isabel. Visitors board for interactive entertainment on the waters of the Laguna Madre, where a professional crew of costumed pirates leads guests through treasure hunts, sword fighting, water cannon battles, and live pirate performances. The ship features face painting, music, and storytelling throughout the voyage. A 9-pound cannon fires during pre-cruise activities on the waterfront patio, where the captain and crew meet guests. During cruises, visitors spot wild bottlenose dolphins in the laguna on most trips. The vessel carries a full bar serving sodas, snacks, beer, wine, and cocktails. Activities suit visitors aged 2 to 92, with children participating in sword fights while adults enjoy beverages. Guests can purchase photos with the captain and crew, available at voyage's end. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
