Bay Area Skydiving operates tandem jumps from 13,000 feet, where first-time visitors exit an aircraft and experience 60 seconds of freefall at speeds up to 120 mph before a parachute descent lasting five to seven minutes. The drop zone near Byron serves skydivers across the Bay Area, offering views of the River Delta and San Francisco skyline on clear days. Visitors receive brief training before boarding, with no previous experience required, and can jump the same day they arrive. The facility also runs an AFF program for those pursuing USPA A-licensure in as few as seven jumps, plus services for licensed skydivers including load organizing, wingsuit flights, and formation jumps.
