Skydive California is a skydiving facility near Tracy where visitors experience freefall jumps from altitudes ranging from 10,000 to 18,000 feet. The facility offers tandem skydiving, in which first-time jumpers are paired with professional tandem instructors for jumps that provide 30 to 100 seconds of freefall depending on altitude. For those seeking to become licensed skydivers, Skydive California provides Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) instruction leading to an A-License, allowing students to progress at their own pace through individual classes or package programs. The facility accommodates experienced licensed skydivers with a private airstrip, huge landing area, and shaded packing pavilion, remaining operational throughout the calendar for up jumps and training. The dropzone is a member of the United States Parachutist Association and hosts tens of thousands of tandem jumpers, AFF students, and experienced skydivers annually. Video and photo packages are available to capture the jump experience. Located near the Bay Area, Skydive California welcomes skydivers of all skill levels.
