ASCEND Erie is an indoor climbing facility where visitors scale fifty-foot lead climbing walls, practice top-roping and auto-belay climbing, and navigate bouldering terrain throughout the 25,000-square-foot space. The facility houses a tranquil yoga room with dedicated classes, an array of fitness equipment and climbing training tools, and slacklines for balance work. Additional amenities include a retail store stocked with climbing brands, concessions, modern restrooms with showers and changing areas including gender-neutral options, and comfortable lounge space. The gym is designed to accommodate beginners, experienced outdoor climbers, competitive athletes, people with adaptive needs, groups, youth, and families. A yoga-only program serves those not interested in climbing. The facility features extensive natural light throughout and operates with extended hours throughout the week.
