About Archbishop Fulton Sheen Museum
The Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Museum in Peoria invites visitors to explore the life and legacy of the venerable archbishop through displays of artifacts and memorabilia. Located in the Spalding Pastoral Center, the museum sits on the same historic campus where young Fulton Sheen attended grade school and high school, one block from the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception where he was ordained. Visitors browse exhibits organized into themed sections including "Saint for Today," "When I Was a Child," "Traveling the Globe," "Famous Converts," "Man of Media," and "Missions." The collections feature his writings, books, photographs, vestments, and Episcopal regalia donated by various supporters. The museum offers a best-selling film titled "Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen—Servant of All" about his life and ministry, available for viewing or purchase. A gift shop sells souvenirs. Groups can arrange guided tours and pilgrimages that combine the museum visit with a Cathedral tour and Mass. General admission is free, and the museum operates on visitor donations.
