About Abel's Apple Acres

Abel's Apple Acres is a four-generation family ranch in Placerville that combines an apple orchard with recreational activities and food service. Visitors explore an Amazing Maze and a Mining Adventure zone, ride ponies or horses in the Kids' Corral, and use pond and picnic areas throughout the property. The Apple Barn houses a Bake Shop and Candy Kitchen, while the Apple Pantry offers fresh apples and gifts. A Craft Faire operates seasonally. The on-site Deck and Terri's Country Cuisine & BBQ serves homemade baked goods, fudge, caramel apples, and country cooking with dining tables and views. The ranch operates daily from Labor Day Weekend through Christmas Eve and is situated minutes north of Highway 50 in El Dorado County.
