About Aaron and Jessica’s Buggy Rides

Aaron and Jessica's Buggy Rides offers horse-drawn carriage tours through Lancaster County's Amish farmland near Bird in Hand, Pennsylvania. The Country and Cookie Tour lasts 30 to 35 minutes, passing Amish homes and businesses where visitors receive cookies, snacks, and drinks from the carriage. The longer Amish Farm Tour runs 50 to 60 minutes with a stop at a working farm where visitors tour the barn, see farm equipment, and observe cows, chickens, goats, and horses. A Sunday-only ride passes numerous farms and occasionally glimpses carriages gathering for church services. Private Amish Journey Tours explore miles of farmland, visiting an Amish store and a water-powered flour mill still operating for local residents, with stops at farm stores selling fresh baked goods and local crafts. Drivers represent members and former members of various Plain communities. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
