About Aaron and Jessica’s Buggy Rides

Aaron and Jessica's Buggy Rides offers horse-drawn carriage tours through Amish farmland in Bird in Hand, Pennsylvania. The Country & Cookie Tour is a 30-35 minute ride passing Amish homes, businesses, and fields still plowed by horses, with Amish neighbors serving cookies, snacks, and drinks from the carriage. The Amish Farm Tour lasts 50-60 minutes and includes getting off to tour a working barn, see farm equipment, cows, chickens, goats, and horses, and learn about life without electricity. The Sunday Ride passes numerous Amish farms and occasionally shows carriages gathering for church services. Private Amish Journey Tours visit an Amish store and a water-powered flour mill still operating for local Amish families. Drivers represent members of various Plain communities and answer questions about Amish country life.
