About 36 Skate Club

36 Skate Club is a roller skating rink on U.S. Route 36 in Piqua, Ohio, where visitors rent skates and skate on the wooden floor during open sessions Thursday through Sunday. The venue offers skate rental and Skate Mate walkers for beginners, plus four-week beginner lessons. The rink hosts birthday parties with admission, three hours of skating, homemade pizza and reserved tables included. Schools and groups can rent the entire rink for fundraisers, and the venue runs STEM field trips. Monthly special events include Homeschool Skate with rotating dress-up themes and Skate to Christian Music. Café 36 serves food during sessions. The Phillabaum family has operated 36 Skate Club since 1965, now in its third generation of ownership. Families of four or more with at least one parent skating receive discounted admission and skate rental on Friday and Saturday nights, with no coupon needed.
