About Wheeler's Orchard

Wheeler's Orchard is a small diversified family farm in Dunlap where visitors explore the orchard premises and vineyard during the events season. The farm grows multiple apple varieties with distinct flavor profiles—Mollie's Delicious, Jona Gold, Liberty, Old Time Golden Delicious, Gala, and Turley Winesap—each suited to different uses from fresh eating to pies, juices, and cider. The orchard practices sustainable agriculture using organic products and chemical-free growing methods. Beyond the trees and vines, visitors can shop at the Farm Store for locally grown products or browse the nursery for plants to grow at home. Wade and Ann Wheeler established the farm on Fredonia Mountain in 1974 and began planting apple trees several years later. Now their children and grandchildren continue expanding the operation into a diverse, sustainable venture. The farm charges admission and publishes its prices online.
