About Vermilion County War Museum
Vermilion County War Museum occupies 14,000 square feet of a former Carnegie Library, displaying uniforms, medals, photographs, flags, weapons, personal diaries, documents and an extensive research library spanning conflicts from the Revolutionary War through current engagements. Permanent exhibits feature Medal of Honor recipients, Missing in Action servicemembers, Prisoners of War, Merchant Marines, the D-Day Invasion, Women in the Military, the Cold War, and Trench Art. The museum is handicap accessible. Active duty military and their families receive free admission as a Blue Star Museum. General admission is charged; the venue publishes its prices online.
