Underground Mini Golf features an 18-hole course set in the basement of the historic Union Hotel in Old Sacramento, where players journey through a chronological retelling of the 1849 Gold Rush. Visitors encounter hand-painted murals by local artist Matthew Trammel, interactive Challenge Wheels that add twists to putts, and historical landmarks including Fort Ross and Folsom jail. The course is air-conditioned and includes ADA-accessible facilities and specially designed putters for golfers in wheelchairs. Birthday parties can rent a themed room for up to three hours with capacity for 40 guests. Field trips blend history and hands-on learning for classes studying the Gold Rush era. The venue offers corporate event packages in its banquet room. Children under 4 play free, according to undergroundminigolf.com.
