Transparensea Glass Bottom Boat Tours operates a 46-foot glass bottom boat in Islamorada, offering two-hour guided tours of the Florida Keys' underwater reefs and shallow waters. Visitors sit in comfortable seating positioned above 16 glass viewing windows set into the boat's floor, providing direct views of the ocean below. The boat visits reefs including Cheeca Rocks, Alligator Reef, and Caloosa Rocks, where educated marine science guides narrate observations of fish, corals, eels, sharks, sea fans, turtles, and marine mammals. On windy days, the boat tours Florida Bay's shallow waters instead. The Seakeeper-stabilized vessel features open-air seating with full shade, a clean restroom, and quiet engines. Night tours operate with underwater lights. Tours depart at 9:30am, 12:00pm, 3:00pm, and approximately 20 minutes after sunset, with check-in 30 minutes prior. Soda and bottled water are available for purchase aboard. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
