About The Wizard of Oz Children's Museum & Activity Center

The Wizard of Oz Children's Museum & Activity Center in Cocoa Beach invites visitors to explore collections and interactive exhibits spanning literature, history, geography, art, science, and space. Children examine and play with vintage toys, dolls, puppets, trains, cars, animal figurines, and books in the museum's activity rooms. The Munchkins room features opportunities to watch the movie, interact with jack-in-the-box toys, and take photographs with Oz characters. Exhibits cover movie props, famous actors, computer technology, and comparisons between films and books. A dedicated reading space encourages children to develop literacy skills. The museum creates hands-on learning experiences that foster critical thinking through interactive play, allowing children to discover and connect with topics in ways that feel like entertainment rather than instruction. The experience suits visitors of all ages, as adults find the museum engaging as well. A typical visit lasts one to two hours depending on a child's age and curiosity level.
