The Trout Gallery is the art museum of Dickinson College, located in the Weiss Center for the Arts in Carlisle. Visitors engage with rotating exhibitions and artworks including plaster cast statuettes and other pieces from the collection. The gallery operates as a teaching museum that promotes curiosity and understanding through active engagement with art. Educational programs include guided inquiry, hands-on demonstrations, and training in visual literacy skills that connect people, art, and ideas. Groups can arrange guided or self-guided visits, with reservations requested for groups of ten or more. Walk-in visitors are welcome during published hours. Parking is available on High Street in front of the building and in an adjacent lot accessed via Church Avenue.
