The Great Pumpkin Patch grows around 300 varieties of pumpkins, squash, and gourds from over 20 countries on its family farm just south of Arthur, Illinois, where visitors browse the produce, select specimens to take home, and explore the 200-acre working prairie property. The Homestead Bakery on the same grounds offers made-from-scratch Amish baked goods including caramel iced cinnamon rolls, honey yeast breads, and the venue's famous pumpkin cookies. Patches Pub, open during pumpkin season, serves craft beers on tap, wine, and signature drinks like Apple Pie slushies and the "Fall"mosa while guests walk the grounds. The farm hosts live music performances throughout the season and provides over five acres of free parking, wheelchair-accessible areas, and hand-stamped re-entry so visitors can leave and return the same day.
