The George Ranch invites visitors to experience Texas history through immersive programs along a nearly-one-mile paved loop in Richmond, Texas. Guests tour four historic sites including a Victorian Mansion, Ranch House, Dog Trot Cabin, Prairie Home, Sharecropper Cabin, Blacksmith Shop and cattle working pens, with a tractor-pulled tram circulating every 20 to 30 minutes. The venue offers specialty tours, field trips for homeschoolers and school groups, Girl Scout badge programs, the Coastal Cowboys Exhibition, and seasonal events like Easter Egg Hunt, Wildflowers at the George Ranch, Father's Day Cast Iron Cookin' with the Cowboys, and Frontier Days. Most historic buildings are outdoors and subject to weather, though the Victorian Mansion and Ranch House maintain climate control. Local teachers receive free general admission with school ID, and children ages 3 and under are free. General admission is available Saturdays; field trips and tours operate Tuesday through Friday.
