Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo features a 7.5-mile drive-through safari where visitors can interact with exotic animals from every continent except Antarctica, often hand-feeding them as the animals approach vehicle windows. The park also operates a 20-acre walk-through zoo with additional animal encounters. Within the walk-through section, visitors can hand-feed giraffes, pet pygmy goats in a dedicated petting zoo, and observe free-flight parakeets, Australian crested doves, and demoiselle cranes at Parakeet Landing, where birds may land on guests. The squirrel monkey exhibit features an open-air tunnel overhead where visitors watch these creatures move through their space. The Sloth Barn provides a panoramic view of Linnaeus's two-toed sloths and prehensile-tailed porcupines from South America.
