About Tahoe Via Ferrata
Tahoe Via Ferrata is a guided assisted rock climbing experience on the Tram Face at Palisades Tahoe in Olympic Valley, California. Participants ascend an 800-foot granite cliff using permanent steel cables, ladder rungs, and suspension bridges, requiring no prior climbing experience. Alpenglow Expeditions, Northern California's only AMGA-accredited guiding service, operates tours in 2, 3, and 4-hour options with all equipment included. Professional guides including Tim Dobbins, Dave Nettle, Emily Sotomayor, Isaac Laredo, Trevor Husted, Mike Pond, Tim Mincey, Robert Kyte, Sam Kieckhefer, Kat Fulwider, Andrew Alissandratos, and Liam Connelly are trained by the AMGA in local terrain.
