About SunVenture Cruises - Destin Crab Island Cruises
SunVenture Cruises operates boat tours from Destin Harbor aboard two 45-foot sporty catamarans, SunVenture I and II, each accommodating up to 98 guests. The company offers several distinct cruises: Crab Island excursions to the water-accessible sandbar, Sunset Dolphin Cruises lasting 1.5 hours, and Fireworks Cruises. Each vessel features a state-of-the-art sound system, open-air deck, shaded areas, on-board restroom, and a fold-down ladder for access to Crab Island's waist-deep waters. Coast Guard-licensed captains narrate cruises while sharing local history and knowledge of the Emerald Coast. Visitors encounter dolphins, stingrays, crabs and birds in their natural habitat. The boats depart from Destin Harbor and Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, offering daytime and sunset options. SunVenture Cruises has operated for 14 years as part of the larger SunQuest Cruises family, which brings 21 years of experience to water-based experiences in the Destin area.
