About Spring Hill Battlefield
Spring Hill Battlefield preserves the site of one of the Civil War's most controversial engagements in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Though much of the original landscape has been lost to commercial and residential development, visitors can walk an interpretative trail located southeast of Spring Hill on Kedron Road and Reserve Boulevard. The trail helps guests understand the historical significance of the battle and the events that unfolded there. Nearby stands Rippavilla Plantation, still open to visitors on Route 31, where Confederate forces camped during the conflict. The battlefield and plantation together offer insight into this pivotal moment in American history. The walking trail makes the site accessible to history enthusiasts and Civil War buffs interested in exploring the region's military heritage firsthand.
