About Sinister Acres
Sinister Acres is a haunted attraction in De Soto, Illinois that offers two separate experiences for visitors seeking scares during the Halloween season. The main draw is Sinister House, an intense haunted house that takes guests into the world of a fictional serial killer named Otis Hodge, spanning a historical period from the 1920s through the 1950s. The second attraction, Tomahawk Trail, is a haunted trail experience that draws on older folklore, telling of ancient evil and human-like creatures said to inhabit the forest. Both attractions feature costumed actors and themed environments designed to create a frightening experience.
