SAM Shortline Excursion Train offers scenic railroad journeys departing from Cordele and Americus, Georgia. The Wine and Cheese train provides an hour-and-a-half round trip with wine tastings from Paulk Vineyards and a cheese tray served onboard. The Peanut Express travels to Plains, Georgia for the Annual Peanut Festival, featuring a four-hour layover with arts, crafts, food vendors, and the annual Peanut Parade. The Murder Mystery Dinner Train offers a two-and-a-half-hour ride in historic railcars where passengers attempt to solve a murder.
