About Safari Farm Petting Zoo & Sanctuary

Safari Farm Petting Zoo & Sanctuary features the Australian Walkabout, a new immersive exhibit where visitors walk among kangaroos, wallabies, and emus while learning about their habitats and behaviors from a keeper. The sanctuary operates by reservation for private animal experiences designed for groups, offering hands-on encounters with friendly animals and educational programs about wildlife conservation. Safari Saturday opens the zoo to the public monthly without requiring a reservation, allowing visitors to interact with the animal collection. The facility provides permanent homes to domestic and exotic animals and arranges field trips, birthday parties, nursing home visits, library programs, and scout group experiences throughout the year. Children 2 and under receive free admission on Safari Saturday. Educational activities include games and crafts alongside keeper-led wildlife instruction, making visits engaging for diverse audiences seeking direct animal interaction and conservation learning.
