Orlando SlingShot

About Orlando SlingShot

Orlando SlingShot is a thrill ride located in Orlando, Florida, where visitors experience an extreme adrenaline rush from a pneumatic launch system. Riders take their seat, buckle up, and tilt back into a volcano setting before being catapulted straight up 450 feet into the air, accelerating from zero to 100 miles per hour in less than two seconds. At the peak, riders experience a moment of weightlessness before the passenger carriage falls back toward the ground. Steel cables and a giant spring machine then catch and launch riders back upward to repeat the cycle. The ride suits adrenaline seekers in good health without age restrictions, though visitors must meet a minimum height requirement of 54 inches and be able to fasten the seat belt properly. The attraction operates from mid-morning through late evening and publishes admission prices online for individual rides and packages that include commemorative merchandise and video recording options.
