Okefenokee Swamp Park in Waycross, Georgia offers visitors access to one of North America's most distinctive wetlands through guided boat tours, a scenic train ride, live reptile encounters featuring snakes and alligators, shaded boardwalks with alligator views, and nature exhibits. A 45-minute naturalist-led boat tour winds through waterways and wildlife habitats. The reptile encounter show features animal ambassadors in live presentation. General admission includes the train ride, reptile encounter, exhibits, and nature paths, with extended experiences available that add a naturalist-led boat ride. Additional options include two-hour kayak tours and overnight wilderness excursions. Tickets are sold online on the venue's site. Local residents of Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Charlton, Clinch, Coffee, Pierce, and Ware counties receive 25% off admission.
