About Meadowbrook Farm
Meadowbrook Farm in White Pine is a restored farmstead where visitors tour a historic 1882 farmhouse and explore outbuildings dating to the property's agricultural heritage. The main house features original details including antique chandeliers, a claw-footed tub, and an 1830s front door. Guests can view the wraparound porch with its swing and the large Magnolia tree in the front yard. The property includes a timeworn log cabin believed to be a former cook house, a hay and stall barn with a loft, a smoke house, a tobacco barn, and a traditional spring house. The farmstead reflects the history of the Eckle family, early German settlers who established the homestead in Jefferson County. The restored green farmhouse and its surrounding landscape accommodate various gatherings and celebrations on the grounds.
