The Longview Arboretum and Nature Center is a 26-acre garden in the heart of Longview where visitors walk through cultivated grounds revealing the unique ecosystem of East Texas. The first phase of the arboretum, comprising 11 acres, is currently open to the public. Visitors enter through the Visitor and Nature Center at the main entrance and navigate the grounds using a detailed park map that points out trails, gardens, and amenities. The arboretum offers guided group tours led by Garden Guides, available by appointment, where visitors learn about the plant life throughout the park. The gardens are designed to stimulate the senses and create a positive relationship with nature. The arboretum is located adjacent to the Maude Cobb Convention Complex and sits between Spur 31 and Grace Creek tributary. Hours of operation are published on the venue's website, and admission is charged at the front desk.
Hours: Wednesday - Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
