The LaSalle County Genealogy Guild in Ottawa helps visitors research their family histories using local records and resources. A visitor can search through birth records, death certificates, obituaries, marriage licenses for grooms and brides, citizenship documents, probate records, and military files. The guild maintains an alphabetical list of births and offers access to mystery photos that visitors can help identify. Research materials include information on stone walls, blended families, and the Burton Brothers collection. The facility provides blank forms to assist with genealogical research and publishes newsletters and papers related to family history. Volunteer staff members assist visitors with family research even when investigations extend beyond LaSalle County boundaries. The guild hosts monthly programs featuring presentations on local history and pioneer settlement. Visitors can walk in during office hours on Saturdays and Mondays to access the collections and receive research assistance.
Fancy going together?
Lasalle County Genealogy Guild publishes its own offers, and when lscgg.org was last read, on , there was none.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
