Kowiachobee Animal Preserve is a nonprofit educational facility where visitors walk through a five-acre preserve to meet rescued animals and learn their stories. The preserve houses big cats, birds, primates, reptiles, and farm animals, many of which arrived after facing uncertain futures as former pets or exhibit animals. Guests experience hands-on learning opportunities during tours that teach wildlife respect, responsible pet ownership, and environmental stewardship. The preserve provides lifelong care for every resident animal, including individualized nutrition, medical support, and enrichment activities.
