Keepers of the Wild Nature Park is an accredited nonprofit wildlife sanctuary spanning 175 acres in Valentine, Arizona, where visitors observe and learn about rescued exotic and indigenous animals. Guided Safari Tours, led by expert staff, last about an hour and fifteen minutes and take guests through the canyon to see big cats and other rescued wildlife up close. The sanctuary is home to over 140 animals including tigers, lions, bears, wolves, primates, cougars, bobcats, coyotes, and various bird species. The park operates Wednesday through Monday, with hours published on the venue's website. Founded in 1995 by former Las Vegas illusionist Jonathan Kraft, the sanctuary provides permanent care for neglected, abused, and abandoned captive animals. The facility works to educate visitors about wildlife conservation, habitat preservation, animal welfare, and issues including illegal wildlife trade and poaching.
