About Hands-On Science Center (HOSC)

The Hands-On Science Center in Tullahoma offers interactive exhibits and engaging programs designed to build interest in STEM education for children, parents, and teachers. Visitors explore the wonders of science through hands-on activities that encourage curiosity and discovery. The center provides a lending library stocked with STEM materials, books, DVDs, and magazines available to rent for free. The facility releases free STEM kits every two weeks that visitors can reserve or purchase as yearly subscriptions. The center also hosts free community events featuring crafts and games, as well as take-home science kits that extend learning beyond the building. Themed programs and camps run throughout the year, including fall camps, winter camp, and special events. The center partners with Arnold Engineering Development Complex through an Air Force STEM grant that sponsors programming and resources. General admission is charged, with reduced prices for seniors, military, and EBT cardholders; children two and under enter free. The facility operates Friday through Sunday with weekday access available for field trips and programs.
