About Grizzly Outdoor Pool
The Wadsworth Grizzly Outdoor Pool is an outdoor swimming facility operated jointly by the City of Wadsworth and the Wadsworth YMCA. Visitors swim in two separate pools: the Leisure Pool features a zero-depth entry, splash pad with spray guns, two small slides, a vortex, and reaches 3 feet 6 inches deep, while the Deep Pool includes a wet deck, drop slide, and diving board at 12 feet deep. Both pools are heated to 83 degrees. The facility provides lockers, bathrooms, a family changing room, and outdoor showers. Surrounding grounds include a sand volleyball court, shade structures, lounge chairs, tables, and vending machines. The facility accommodates swimmers of all experience levels, from young children enjoying the shallow leisure areas and water features to experienced swimmers using the diving board and deeper waters.
