Green Spiral Farm is a certified organic produce operation in Arcata that serves the community through multiple venues and seasonal events. Visitors can purchase fresh vegetables at the Arcata Farmers Market on the Plaza, or join the CSA Farm Share program to receive boxes of diverse seasonal produce. The farm hosts the biannual Mad River Market festival, featuring 30-plus vendors, a plant sale and seed exchange, live music, food, drinks, and a kids' zone. During the autumn season, the farm operates a haunted corn maze with live scare actors, fog-filled rows, lantern lighting, and decorated pathways including a lit-up barn and eerie passages. A decorated maze happy hour precedes the nighttime experience. The farm also operates a standard corn maze and pumpkin patch during certain periods.
