About Glenmore Mansion
Glenmore Mansion is Jefferson County's only public house museum, offering guided tours of a Second Empire mansion built in 1868. Visitors explore the elegant rooms and learn about the Branner family history through hour-long tours led by knowledgeable docents. Tours cover all major rooms in the mansion and several rooms in the Doll Town wing, with access to the unfinished attic and tower room on the third floor if time permits. The mansion hosts seasonal events including the Spring Garden Market, where visitors shop among the mansion's gardens, and Christmas Candlelight Tours featuring festive decorations. Tours are available Saturday and Sunday afternoons, starting on the hour between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., with visitors paying admission at the front door before beginning their tour.
