About Georgia Mountain Coaster
Georgia Mountain Coaster is the first and only mountain coaster in Georgia, where riders control their own speed using manual handles on a one- or two-seat cart descending a forest track. Drivers aged 16 and up who are at least 54 inches tall can operate a cart alone, while younger passengers at least 38 inches tall and 3 years old can ride with an adult driver. Parents can drive their children down the mountain, or two friends can ride together, with weight limits of 375 pounds on dry track and 330 pounds when wet. The venue sits within walking distance of downtown Helen and publishes admission prices online for adults, children ages 7 to 12, and ages 3 to 6. The venue offers two verified savings: a second ride ticket purchased the same day is half off the standard price, and local residents from Habersham, White, or Hall County receive three dollars off admission.
