About Everhart Museum

The Everhart Museum of Natural History, Science & Art in Scranton's Nay Aug Park engages visitors through exhibitions and programs celebrating Northeastern Pennsylvania and the wider world. The three-story historic building houses a foundational taxidermy collection, fossil gallery, and rocks and minerals displays alongside regional, national, and global artwork and cultural artifacts from peoples throughout time. Current exhibitions include the Hubble Space Telescope: New Views of the Universe and The Office Exhibition. The museum's permanent galleries are frequently updated, and regularly-changing special exhibitions drawn from the museum's extensive collections or brought in from around the country mean there is always something new to see. Guided 90-minute tours accommodate groups of 10 to 15 people and can be scheduled Monday through Friday. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday, with hours and admission prices published on its website.
