About Esports Arena

Esports Arena is a competitive gaming facility located at the north end of the Student Center in Carbondale, Illinois, accessible through the Bowling & Billiards area. Visitors use dedicated gaming PCs to play titles from major platforms including Battle.net, Steam, Epic Games, and EA Origin. Players create a free GG Leap account at the Billiards desk and select their gamer username to access the arena's computers. The facility welcomes students, faculty, staff, and community members. To play, visitors load funds into their account at the Esports Arena desk using debit, credit, Debit Dawg, or cash, then begin gaming sessions that are charged by the hour. SIU students and staff identify their accounts with university IDs, while non-SIU patrons provide a phone number. The arena publishes hourly rates online for different visitor categories.
