About El Yunque Community Splash Pad

El Yunque Community Splash Pad is Osceola County's first splash pad, inspired by Puerto Rico's El Yunque National Forest, located in the 65th Infantry Veterans Park in Buenaventura Lakes. Visitors cool off among 34 water features including a water dump platform and spraying palms that activate when guests arrive. The splash pad contains no standing water, maintaining safety while providing interactive water play. The facility accommodates between 50 and 60 people and includes a restroom, sunbathing lawn, picnic tables and observation benches for those accompanying children. The tropical rainforest theming creates a distinctive atmosphere reflecting the natural beauty of the Puerto Rican landmark. The splash pad operates during daylight hours seven days a week, making it a convenient neighborhood spot for families seeking relief from Florida heat during summer months.
