About East Alton Ice Arena
East Alton Ice Arena is a public ice skating facility where visitors skate on a state-of-the-art rink. The arena offers public skating sessions throughout the week, along with hockey stick and puck times for both adults and children. Visitors can take Learn to Skate classes or enroll in Learn to Play Hockey instruction designed for adults. The facility hosts hockey leagues including a Men's League and programs for youth teams. The arena also runs specialty activities like the Zamboni School, where visitors learn about ice maintenance, and seasonal tournaments including the Shamrock Shootout for young players. Organizations based at the facility include the East Alton Skating Academy and Twin Bridges Hockey Association. Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville plays home games here, as do local high school teams. The on-site Skater's Edge Pro Shop sells skating and hockey equipment. The arena is located in East Alton, Illinois, and operates daily.
