About Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink

The Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink transforms Ali Youssefi Square into a winter skating destination where visitors lace up skates and glide across the ice under city lights. Located at 7th and K Streets outside Golden 1 Center, the rink has operated for over thirty years as a seasonal attraction. Skate rental is included with admission. The venue partners with local organizations throughout the season to offer themed activations including craft days, silent disco nights, and donation drives. The rink sits adjacent to some of downtown Sacramento's best restaurants, making it easy to extend a visit into a full day outing. Skate sizes run as small as youth 8, accommodating younger children. The atmosphere encourages social skating, whether visitors come with friends or family to spend a winter day on the ice.
