Daytona Aquarium & Rainforest Adventure, Daytona Beach

About Daytona Aquarium & Rainforest Adventure

Daytona Aquarium & Rainforest Adventure features a dedicated arcade with games available for play throughout the facility in Daytona Beach. Visitors explore over 1,500 animals representing more than 350 species across fully indoor, climate-controlled exhibits displaying fish, sharks, stingrays, octopus, amphibians, birds, mammals, and reptiles. The venue includes nine virtual reality experiences where guests encounter sharks, humpback whales, manta rays, and other marine life without getting wet. Interactive attractions include a gem mining sluice near the entrance, an interactive sandbox in Gator Alley where visitors shape terrain around dinosaurs, and Draw Alive, where guests design fish that swim in a virtual tank. An educational presentation and self-guided tour typically take 1.5 to 2 hours. Both the aquarium and rainforest are included in a single day pass ticket. Florida residents receive five dollars off day passes at the admissions counter with a valid driver's license, according to information on daytonaaquariumandrainforest.com.
