About Coweta County Genealogical Society

The Coweta County Genealogical Society in Newnan offers a research library where visitors explore their family history using extensive collections. The library houses reference books, maps, family histories, and county records focused on Coweta County, Georgia, along with materials covering all fifty states and some foreign countries. Researchers access surname books, family history compilations, family folders, historical newspapers, military books, index publications, and miscellaneous historical reference materials, magazines, and pamphlets.
