Cover's Apple Ranch in Tuolumne is a working apple orchard where visitors ride a miniature train through tunnels and around a pond, play in a tree house, and visit barnyard animals including baby cows, goats, pigs, chickens, and bunnies. The ranch grows multiple apple varieties including Early Blaze, Double Red, Golden Delicious, Paragon Winesap, and King David apples, available at different times throughout the harvest season. Fresh cider is pressed weekly on premises with no added sugar or chemicals, and cold-pressed fresh pomegranate juice is also available. The main ranch house serves home-style food from a deli and homemade baked goods from an on-site bakery. Visitors can enjoy fall tours available weekly, and the ranch accommodates birthday parties and group tours by arrangement.
