About Clovis Botanical Garden

Clovis Botanical Garden showcases themed garden spaces designed to educate visitors about water conservation in the California Central Valley. The Mediterranean Garden features plants native to the Mediterranean Sea region, one of five climates similar to the Central Valley. The Home Demonstration Garden displays four landscape styles using seven principles of Central Valley gardening, along with an irrigation display. The Cactus Garden exhibits drought-resistant succulents and cacti with interesting shapes and low maintenance requirements. The Sensory Garden provides an accessible journey through sights, sounds, and textures to heighten awareness or promote calmness. The Children's Garden offers learning opportunities through educational displays about plants. Guided tours are available for groups of four to ten people, and school groups can visit with proper supervision and use of the white canopy for lessons. The garden operates in Clovis, California, and is staffed entirely by volunteers.
