About Children's Discovery Museum

Children's Discovery Museum features My Great Backyard, a toddler space on Floor One where visitors build, climb, and imagine alongside their children. The museum spans three floors of hands-on exhibits including Plan City with trains, Water Works, Imagination Playground with blue blocks, Imagine Air stations, and the Dig It Garden. Visitors also access the Art Studio, Try It Zone, and Museum Store. The museum welcomes families with children ranging from toddlers through pre-teens, with exhibits designed for intergenerational play so adults participate fully. Admission is charged, with prices published online. Active duty military members, including National Guard and Reserve, receive free admission for themselves and up to six family members. The museum is located in Normal, Illinois.
