Broadway Zoological Park is a family-focused rescue and conservation facility in Broadway, North Carolina, where visitors walk through 50 acres of exhibits to observe more than 170 animal species from around the wild. The park features the Parakeet Aviary, home to over 150 interactive Australian parakeets that guests can feed and observe. At the Giraffe Feeding Station, visitors feed giraffes daily at scheduled times while learning about their conservation. The Kids Barn Area offers interaction with goats and reptiles, train rides, keeper-led crafts, and a playground. Tortoise Town showcases over five tortoise species, some weighing 500 pounds, with keeper-led education about diet and lifespan. The park also provides educational stations throughout the grounds where staff answer questions about ambassador species. Public bathrooms, stroller facilities, vending machines, and handicap accommodations support visitors during their stay. The park is closed Tuesdays and operates on seasonal hours.
