About Beck Ranch Park

Beck Ranch Park preserves the scale house, grain silo, and slaughter house from a working cattle ranch that once spanned 10,000 acres across State Road 415 in Osteen. The 25-acre park sits on land Volusia County acquired through the Volusia Forever program to maintain the ranch's historical structures while creating recreational space for residents. Visitors explore the grounds beneath huge live oak trees and view outdoor interpretive panels explaining the property's ranching history. The park includes three pavilions with picnic tables and grills, a playground, two volleyball courts, a dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs, and restrooms. Two adjacent multipurpose fields accommodate soccer, football, and other activities. Wildlife and native vegetation flourish throughout the grounds. The park opens daily from sunrise to sunset and sits 3.9 miles south of Howland Boulevard on State Road 415.
