Yosemite Trails Pack Station in Fish Camp offers horseback trail rides through the Sierra mountains. Visitors ride American Quarter Horses, ranch-raised animals known for gentle temperaments and sure-footedness in high terrain. The pack station operates one-hour Big Creek rides and two-hour Vista Pass rides departing daily. A five-hour Grizzly Giant ride runs on Sundays and Thursdays, leading to one of the world's largest giant sequoias, a 2000-year-old redwood tree. All riders begin with a hands-on lesson in an arena before departure, and no prior riding experience is necessary. Trail routes cross streams, allowing riders to experience their horses in water. The family-run operation traces its history to 1900 when Newton Jasper Phillips homesteaded in the area; the current owners have managed the station since 1966. Guides lead groups along scenic forest paths where visitors observe the natural landscape. The pack station raises its own stock on high-country pasture each spring and autumn, a practice spanning generations.
We check this attraction’s own website for offers. The last time we read yosemitetrails.com, on , there was no offer on it that we could verify.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
